About Nowhere

Picture
Hey there. Welcome to Nowhere.
(Now)(Here).

This is a website about meditation.
It's also about what people call mindfulness--ways of being attentive in daily life.
It's about other things, too, but those first couple are the bulk of what is talked about here.
Have a look around. There are some things to read, some things to watch, and a few things to look at.
If you have questions, you can always get in touch by using one of the contact links on the site.

I hope you find some of the content beneficial. It's all free (including talking to me), so make whatever use of it you'd like.
Glad you're here.

Open Abidance Meditation

"When we get in touch with our inner knowing, there is often a sense of vast space within and around our bodies, and this subjective sense of space is almost always accompanied by a deep silence."
-John Prendergast

Initially, the practice of meditation serves as an entry point into deepening interior silence, stability, and abidance. The facilitative technique that reveals this entry point may be the breath, bodily sensations, external perceptions, or an object of thought-- which of these seems most effective varies between individuals. Regardless of the initial entry point, students eventually become acquainted with the open, accepting, abiding nature of awareness.

Group sessions will explore techniques as a series of classes, while individual sessions will likely focus on a single method that seems to be the most organic for partnered work with John and individual practice.
